Volunteer Days at Rush Ranch with Access Adventure & Solano Land Trust



Join us for upcoming Volunteer Days!

 

September 13: Volunteer Workday with Solano Land Trust (SLT)

We will help tend to the land and clear trails for our partner SLT. Tasks may include:

  • Clearing vegetation and debris from paths

  • Improving trails with hand-tools

  • Erosion control

  • Constructing trail infrastructure and installing trail signage

  • Maintaining grounds around structures

  • Caring for gardens


 

November 30: Volunteer Workday with Access Adventure (AA)

We plan to complete some chores at Rush Ranch for our partner AA. Tasks may include:

  • Repairing fences

  • Filling & placing sandbags to divert rainwater from a paddock

  • Clearing cobwebs from the horse barns

  • Weed whacking

  • Mucking


 

Schedule for both events:

10:30 AM - 1:30 PM: Work Party

2:00 PM - 4:00 PM: Volunteer Appreciation Party

 

Pizza, snacks, and water provided.
