Empower Young Adults With Peer-Support & Life Skills

ree

The Downtown Youth Wellness Center is a Santa Clara County Behavioral Health Department program dedicated to promoting a safe, supportive, and youth-focused environment that provides short term Behavioral Health services, focused on prevention and early intervention for youth ages 12-25.  Services include same day access to brief behavioral health support, peer support, workshops, well-being groups, social and educational activities, links  to services/case management (including medical and longer-term behavioral health services), life skills development, education and career planning, independent living skills, and other related care. TDYWC is a partnership between the Behavioral Health Services Department and Alum Rock Counseling Center.

Young adulthood is a critical period of life often including significant transitions, challenges, and opportunities. For many this time is complicated by behavioral health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse which impacts their ability to thrive in school and relationships. At Crescent Moon Center, we believe that every young adult deserves the support needed to navigate these challenges and achieve their full potential. Our experiential workshops can empower young adults as they discover their path toward resilience and growth.

Help us  give free Art4Healing workshops to young adults at TDYWC. We need to raise $1100 to cover the cost of staff and supplies by September 1st. Every donation, large or small, matters!
