About the event

The Singing Tree Project is a collaborative mural-making workshop that brings people together around shared values and agreements for group interaction. You begin by discussing and exploring themes which include building healthy relationships and community, inspiring hope, honoring nature, celebrating art & creativity, and cultivating health, resilience, and well-being. After this group reflection, participants collaboratively conceptualize, design, and paint a mural. The Singing Tree project builds connection and trust within the group and allows for a unique hands-on experience with creative expression and art.

Our facilitator, Laurie Marshall, M.A. is a cutting-edge educator and creative activist who uses collaborative art to envision healing of heartbreak. Laurie has used art as a healing and connecting tool for 35 years. As founder of Unity Through Creativity Foundation, Inc., her Singing Tree Mural Project demonstrates that collaboration is not only possible, but it produces extraordinary results. Over 100 murals have been made by more than 21,000 people from 52 countries.

Please join our waitlist and we will let you know of future opportunities to experience The Singing Tree Project.
